The Q-assist Solid Aluminium Threshold Ramp is designed to be installed within a door leaf to bridge the small height difference often found in doorways. It can also be used for thresholds and small steps. It improves accessibility and safety for individuals who use wheelchairs, scooters and walkers.
The 280mm long ramp features a weight rating of 360kg and both motorised and manual wheelchairs can use it. The Q-assist Solid Aluminium Threshold Ramp features a minimum loaded height of 10mm and a maximum loaded height of 35mm. At these minimum and maximum loaded heights, the Q-assist Solid Aluminium Threshold Ramp meets gradient of 1 in 8 as required by Australian Standard 1428.1. Made from hardened, heavy-duty aluminium the threshold ramp can be used internally and externally.
