The seat sits atop an existing toilet to elevate the height of the toilet seat thereby reducing the distance an individual needs to lower themselves and then raise themselves back up. The padded, moulded arm rests also assist with transferring on and off the toilet and can offer individuals who may be fearful of falls handles to grip for extra peace of mind while toileting.
