While the Q-assist Bariatric Shower Chair is designed for bariatric care, it can also be used for individuals with limited mobility and or strength, the elderly and those recovering from surgery. It is a comfortable, safe and secure place to sit while showering for individuals who may have difficulty standing and or balancing while showering. By reducing the risk of falls, it enables individuals to undertake the day-to-day activity of bathing with confidence with as much independence as possible.
The chair is fully height adjustable for user comfort and the backrest can also be removed to convert it into a stool. The slip resistant feet provide excellent grip. The lightweight aluminium frame makes it easy to move in and out of the shower as needed.
Featuring a slimline body, the chair will fit a range of shower sizes but is ideal for smaller showers which can’t accommodate large and bulky assistive devices.
The Q-assist Bariatric Chair is designed for domestic use only and meets Australian Standard AS/NZS 3973:2009.
