Designed to promote bathing independence and safety, the Q-assist Transfer Chair can be used in both the bath and the shower. For a shower with a high shower hob, the Transfer Chair reduces the risk of falling and slipping by removing the need to step over the hob. For individuals who cannot safely step into a bath, the Transfer Chair allows them to sit and move across the Chair’s bench seat until they are safely within the bath.
The Q-assist Transfer Chair is also a safe chair on which to bathe in both the shower and bath, featuring a wide and comfortable seat, a back rest and hand rest. The Q-assist Transfer Chair allows individuals who require more support while bathing to approach the day-to-day activity of bathing with confidence and as much independence as possible.
